The efficiency of Groundscrews has been proven time and time again, however seeing is believing. In the video library below, please see for yourself how Groundscrew technology and EFS can help you turn four days into four hours!
STANDARD INSTALLATIONS
SANTA THERESA WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Santa Clara County's state of the art water treatment facility chose Groundscrews as the footing for a 400KW solar installation. The site was composed of a rocky slope measuring 20 degrees in some areas. Access to the site was limited to vehicles weighing under 12 tons, rendering concrete construction impossible. NAPA COUNTY ROCK
A private residence in Napa County required a 25KW ground mount solar installation. Most of the solar contractors invited to bid the project were dismayed by the rocky site conditions. Upon arrival EFS surmised the need for a DTH hammer and the required 30 holes were pre-drilled in four hours. After the Groundscrews were installed, the rack was erected the next day. SIGNAGE
The ease of use and the speed of our installation tools allowed a single operator to install a sign pole and sign in less than 8 minutes. The conditions were harsh, packed soil and gravel with a 102 degree air temperature. Credit: Ian Drake, EFS Installer, (Never broke a sweat) |

IN SNOW AND RAIN

PULL TESTING AT TRUCKEE MEADOWS COMMUNITY COLLEGE, RENO, NV
EFS can install a Groundscrew in the snow. If concrete were the material of choice, the weather conditions would have delayed the pour, curing time and ability to perform the pull test required. The Groundscrew allowed for all invited parties to maintain their respective schedules and keep the project on time and on budget. Credit: Hamilton Solar, Reno, Nevada |
THROUGH SOLID ROCK
THE DESERT RESEARCH INSTITUTE (DRI), RENO, NV
Located in one of the most unforgiving environments in the Western United States. The sheer quantity of rocks on the site made clearing them cost prohibitive. A Groundscrew was installed through a large boulder and subsequently into the substrate below. The entire process from pre-drilling through the rock to installing the screw took less than 10 minutes.
